    NKU unveils newly renovated Welcome Center with a multi-million-dollar upgrade

    Âé¶¹Ô­´´ will debut its newly renovated Welcome Center with a ribbon cutting on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025. The project spanned ten months and included renovations to the University Center and upgrades to the Otto M. Budig Theater, lighting, digital systems and more. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will include a demonstration of the new and improved visitor experience.

    NKU receives grant to address critical teacher shortage, strengthen educator pipeline

    Âé¶¹Ô­´´ is continuing to lead the way in reducing the regional and nationwide teacher shortage with the launch of the Haile Foundation Future Educator Fellows Program. NKU will have a direct impact on quality K-12 education in the region by building a sustainable pipeline of dedicated and community-oriented educators.

    Âé¶¹Ô­´´â€™s Center for Economic Analysis and Development (CEAD) is hosting the third annual Mid-Summer Symposium on Thursday, July 17, where regional experts and leaders will present the latest data on the state of Northern Kentucky’s economy.
